Arrival & Parking
Hotel Yöpuu is located at Kansakoulukatu 2, right in the center of Jyväskylä. Driving to us is easy, and the parking garage is accessible via the courtyard; the garage height is 2.3 m. Upon arrival, you can stop briefly in the courtyard to unload your luggage before proceeding to park. The reception will guide you to the correct spot if needed and provide instructions for registration.
Parking is available on the hotel’s own spaces in the courtyard and garage, and spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is free for guests who book directly through the hotel; reservations made via third-party channels incur a fee of €10/day. If you wish, we can also reserve a spot in advance under your name for an additional €20/day. Nearby, there are street parking spaces as well as the P-Kolmikulma and P-Tori parking garages (approx. 300 m), so options are available even during busy periods.
Arrival by Public Transport
Jyväskylä Travel Center (trains and long-distance buses) is within walking distance, approximately 650 meters from the hotel. The most direct route passes through the city center, for example via Väinönkatu and Yliopistonkatu. Local buses also stop nearby, making it easy to reach the hotel without a car. If needed, the reception can provide detailed directions and schedules.
CHECKING IN TO YOUR ROOM
The room is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. The room will be held until 6:00 PM on the arrival day unless a later check-in time has been agreed upon. After 6:00 PM, the hotel reserves the right to release the room if the guest has not arrived.
CHECKING OUT OF YOUR ROOM
Rooms must be vacated by 12:00 PM on the day of departure. If availability allows, a later check-out time can be arranged. Please confirm the possibility upon arrival at the hotel.
ACCESSIBILITY
Please note that our hotel is not fully accessible, as the building is a protected structure from the 1920s. There is no elevator, and the rooms are located on the second and third floors.
INTERNET ACCESS
Free Wi-Fi is available. The password can be obtained from the reception, and it is also provided in the hotel pass and in our DigitalGuest electronic guestbook.
PETS
Pets are not allowed in our hotel. Pet-friendly rooms are available at our sister hotel, Hotel Verso.
